Bax shows off his new Hawkeye gear
Baxter had fun cheering on the Hawkeyes & meeting some new Outing Club friends while wearing his new Iowa Hawkeye outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Koch.
The fun continues at Clear Lake!
After our weekend in Dewey Beach, DE...and a Virginia Tech football game in MD...and a visit to Minneapolis...we were lucky enough to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa Koch in Clear Lake, Iowa. Baxter had a great time taking walks on the beach, dining out, playing on the swings with Pop and laughing with Grandma and Grandpa.

When Patty Campbell came to meet Baxter, he showed off by sitting up on his own for the first time. Quite a thrill for us all!
Minneapolis Visit with Campbells
My birthday celebration continued in Minneapolis...
The Campbells treated us to a fabulous evening at Benihana, and my friend Kristen and her son William were also able to join us. The food was amazing, and Baxter enjoyed watching shrimp being thrown into the air by our chef.

Hokie Fan
While we attended the Virginia Tech vs. Boise State football game, Baxter spent some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa in his Hokie attire. Too bad Tech lost...
Mom's Birthday Trip to Dewey Beach
We had a wonderful time celebrating my 39th....OK, my 40th....birthday in Dewey Beach, DE. Hurricane Earl blew a little rain around on Friday morning, but the weather afterwards was perfect. Here are a few photos from our trip.
